The Local 402 Veterans Committee researches and provides information on issues, legislation, and programs affecting our members who have proudly served our country in the military.

The committee members also sell raffle tickets each month. The proceeds from these monthly raffles provide three $500 scholarships annually to the children and grandchildren of our members who are selected through the John Minchin Memorial Scholarship Fund.

Important note: If you are a veteran who is retired or is approaching retirement, please register with the Veterans Administration and get a photo I.D. taken. You may qualify to receive medical benefits at little or no cost to you through Veterans Hospitals.
