10/16/26: If you need assistance with in-person unemployment, the following address was given: 6680 Poe Ave., Vandalia, OH 45414. Their hours are Monday-Friday from 8 am to 4 pm.

10/15/26: All individuals whose health insurance was discontinued with BCBS/UHC should now be corrected.

10/14/26: Union meeting today at 4:00 pm. Current information: Roshel has hired IT and cleaning out offices. No commitment on start date for negotiations but committed to union to begin talks in future. Shawn Reed and Chris Blizard are attending BET to secure council funds for upcoming Roshel negotiations – the local will be fully reimbursed for conference and no wages are being paid. The Women’s Committee will be having the Children’s Halloween party at the recreation park on Saturday, October 24th, from 1:00 – 4:00 pm. Donations for cake walk would be appreciated. All funds for this event were raised by Women’s Committee. ODJFS Rapid Response schedule will be 10/14 & 10/15 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at union hall. Unemployment representatives will be at union hall on 10/15 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Life Insurance Continuation Form should be mailed by approximately 10/15. If you want coverage, you need to fill out and return by required date. Roshel applications can still be turned in to Chris Blizard or Shawn Reed (no cutoff date as of yet.)

10/12/26: International Motors Corporate has been notified about insurance coverage being dropped for some members and is working to resolve the matter.

10/09/26: Update: Unemployment sent two representatives to union hall today until 3:00 pm.

10/07/26: Unemployment/rapid response update – due to a scheduling conflict, unemployment representatives will not be back this week but will return on Tuesday 10/13/26 and Thursday 10/15/26 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm next week. Rapid response will be here the rest of the week through Friday and next Tuesday, October 13th through Thursday, October 15.

****UPDATE REGARDING UNEMPLOYMENT REPRESENATIVES AT UNION HALL*** Please note that due to scheduling conflict, unemployment representatives will not be here Wednesday, October 7th, or Thursday, October 8, 2026. A representative from unemployment will be at the Union Hall on Friday, October 9th, from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm. Rapid response team will still be here to help with resumes and all other assistance other than unemployment claims on Wednesday through Friday.
